John McCallion

Chief Financial Officer, MetLife, Inc. and Head of MetLife Investment Management

John McCallion is chief financial officer, MetLife, Inc., and head of MetLife Investment Management (MIM). He is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team. In these roles, McCallion is responsible for all financial management matters, including financial reporting, treasury, corporate actuarial, tax, investor relations and mergers and acquisitions, and oversees MIM’s approximately $700 billion in total assets under management.

Prior to his current role, John served as MetLife's treasurer from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer of MetLife's EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region, based in London, from 2012 to 2016 and prior to that he served as MetLife's head of investor relations from 2011 to 2012. He also previously served as vice president and chief financial officer of MetLife's investments department, managing financial analysis and reporting for more than $450 billion in investments.
